We are Parents. We are Teachers.

Together, we are preparing our children to become strong leaders.

BE PART OF YOUR CHILD'S FUTURE

Our
Mission

We are a non-profit organization dedicated to helping  our kids reach their full potential by further enriching their learning experience, giving them a strong head start in a challenging world.

What We Do

In short, it is all about our children. From safety, to extended resources and other needed equipments. We simply help the school to create the ultimate learning environment and cover those things that are not covered by our ISD

Field Trips

Field trips are important to bridge the gap between education and hands-on experience.

Expanded Learning

Junior Achievement is a volunteer run program to foster work-readiness and financial literacy skills. Masterpiece Art is a volunteer art enrichment program.

Classroom Tech

Integrating technology in education helps students stay engaged and develop digital citizenship skills.

Brazos Bend appreciates all the new books and new shelves we received from PTO. Over the years, we have had books lost, worn out from use, and some that are outdated. That is why we needed new books. We needed books that were new, bright, and kept our reader’s engaged. This will influence our students in many ways. It will give them a chance to read a variety of text, become better readers and they will become excited about reading. The Reading and Writing TEKS changed this year, which allowed our district to purchase a new reading adoption (Fountas and Pinnell). The adoption came with many different resources for the teachers and students. The Adoption is Amazing! It came with leveled guided reading books for all grade levels, with 108, 000 books. After receiving all the books, we realized we needed a place to store them. The PTO graciously stepped in and bought us 18 new bookshelves. What a relief! Brazos Bend would like to thank the PTO for supporting our readers and our future leaders.

When do I have time to volunteer, you ask yourself. I am too busy being a parent! Volunteering is important for all of us. Volunteering at your child's campus may be one of the most important, life-altering things you can ever do for your child. Why you ask? Because it sends a very clear message to them (and other students for that matter) that you're devoting your most precious commodity - yourself - to something that's important to you - their education. It shows them you support them and their teachers and lets them know that what they do matters to you. It's all about them Were talking about our teachers and staff, the very teachers and staff who nurture your child everyday throughout the school year. We need your helping hands and smiling faces on our campuses to help lighten the load for our staff giving them more time in the classroom. We need you! The number one reason people don't volunteer is because no one asked them. Well, we are asking for you! Your time and knowledge is needed and wanted by our staff and students. The diversity of our community and the experiences you can share with our students is valuable to us. Whether it's a little time or a lot of time on campus or at home - moms, dads, siblings, neighbors, or grandparents - WE NEED YOU! We could not do it without each of you!
